Mission & Philosophy
Our goal is simple, to help individuals live safely, confidently, and independently at home through thoughtful, function-driven recommendations that support both current needs and long-term success.
About Lifeability
We believe the home should actively support independence, confidence, and meaningful daily living.
Home is where daily activities happen, where comfort lives, and where people want to remain as independent as possible, for as long as possible. When the environment works with the individual, it can enhance safety, preserve function, and promotes autonomy.
LifeAbility provides clinically informed home assessments that focus on how people truly live in their spaces. We look beyond standard, one size fits all recommendations, to understand an individuals abilities, routines, habits, and personal goals, ensuring the home environment supports independence and long-term living in place.

A function-Driven home Solutions
LifeAbility was created to fill a critical gap between healthcare recommendations and standard home modification outcomes.
Too often, home modifications are made without a clear understanding of a person’s physical abilities, functional limitations, or long-term needs. Or healthcare driven solutions that do not take in account of structural limitations. These decisions, while well-intended, can lead to ineffective modifications, increased risk, unnecessary costs, or solutions that no longer work as a person’s condition changes.
With extensive experience in rehabilitation, geriatric care, and clinically based home modification planning, LifeAbility was founded to bring clinical reasoning, structure, and accountability into the home modification process, before changes are made.
A Person Centered approach
Every individual’s situation is unique. Even people with similar diagnoses may require very different solutions based on:
- Strength, balance, and mobility
- Cognitive or neurological considerations
- Progressive medical conditions
- Daily routines and habits
- Caregiver involvement
- Personal goals and priorities
LifeAbility takes a person-centered approach that respects individual preferences, promotes autonomy, and supports informed decision-making. Recommendations are designed not just for today, but with an eye toward long-term usability and adaptability.
Our Values
